Summer Reading

We've hit The End of summer reading for the summer. Gracelyn had a great time in her first year of involvement. She even won a drawing contest!

G's winning bookmark: From top...rainbow, rain clouds,
purple grapes, world with sunshine rays.

The first week, she had a little bit of a separation issue, but after that, she did great. I'm so proud of her!

I'm also thankful that we have such a great library in our town. We visit the library once or twice a week, and the staff is always so friendly, and even know us by name. I love that.

So here are a few shots in honor of Summer Reading, 2011:

Gracelyn loves to pick out books...

...She also loves to pick out movies. And I think it's great that you can check them out for FREE.

Here are the final selections. I would highly recommend all of the Llama Llama books. So adorable!

Also, on another note, if you have $5 to spare (maybe because you checked out a free movie from the library instead of renting?), be sure to join the Woods family's Facebook Challenge to Bring Blake Home. At last count, only 28 more people were needed to hit their goal of 200! The fundraiser runs through Monday.
