Hot & Crispy

I'm not much of a green thumb, but every spring/summer, I look forward to seeing big, beautiful hot pink blooms on my hibiscus plant. Brad and I received the plant as a house-warming gift when we purchased our first home, and amazingly, I've managed to keep it alive over the years...

Summer of 2006

...Until this year. I don't have great windows inside for the sun-loving plant, so, like every year, I left it outside. Only the weather this year hasn't been like other years. And this is the result:

Summer of 2011

I brought the poor plant inside a week ago to see if it would come out of it. I haven't given up hope...yet.

I guess only time will tell. 

For now, I will keep watering.
